Answer #1:
I like it, but just make sure you yourself believe in it...other than that your ready to publish.Answer #2:
Needs editing. Needs developing. You're thirteen, you've got plenty of time. You'll get better as you grow older --trust me. As long as you don't give up, though. I found the dialogue awkward. Didn't seem like something that people would say, in my opinion. Plot, at least, looks interesting and at least is getting to the point, not dragging on, though I felt the very beginning could use some interest. Ever think of using a prologue to grab attention and reveal some important -yet-mysterious-situation? Your grammar is decent --at least no atrocious errors that make me cringe --though there are a fair amount of errors. By the way, publishers don't really like to accept work that's already been published onto the internet. Makes it less-new. They like new stuff. Anyway, let me finish by saying for thirteen years old, you're a pretty advanced writer. Keep it up ;)Answer #3:
When I meet an author with a great book concept, one who’s definitely the right person to write that book, right away I’ll often encourage him or her to self-publish. This is because I know that an author is thoroughly invested in what they have to say. Your publisher can help you determine the genre if you like. And this is your book - no one should tell you what to do.Hey, congrats! Not everyone has the courage to face the publishing industry even if their literature is highly recommended for public consumption. Because you already have your materials, the next thing you might decide on doing is to find a publisher who will be your retailer, publisher, editor and distributor at the same time - which is of course not that easy to find.
Maybe you would like to ask around and perhaps shop around. Many would also suggest getting an agent which could take SO long for them to sit down and actually notice what you have there and believe me, we are not just talking months here but years.
I hope you already have a game plan. Good luck! :0
